Head of Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management

A very rare high profile appointment has recently opened within my clients prestigious organization as the Head of Strategic Planning & Portfolio Management. You will be working for a leading Pharmaceutical company with an enviable pipeline and product list and a reputation of retaining some of the brightest talent in the industry currently.

The principal responsibilities of this position ensure management across my client\'s whole development portfolio. You will be managing and consolidating the overall development portfolio and make recommendations to Senior Management about potential investments and resource allocation decisions.

In addition you will be tasked with providing development benchmarking data and analysis to senior management while supervising the integration of competitive intelligence and knowledge management within my client\'s development activities.

Suitable candidates will be degree educated (Post Graduate qualifications highly desirable) and have extensive experience within Clinical Research to include working in international and multidisciplinary and multicultural environments. You will be recognized as an expert in strategy in the industry and have demonstrable leadership skills and sound business ethics.

Advance knowledge of working within competitive environments and strong interpersonal and communication skills to be used for bridging between scientific and business participants in negotiating timelines and effective international collaboration will be required for this role.
