Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

Your main responsibility will consist in developing and evaluating innovative approaches in data analysis. You will be involved in experimental design and analysis of expression and bioassay data from different projects and will participate in the implementation of informatics solutions
Essential Skills & Capabilities:

You have a PhD in statistics, biostatistics or related field, or Master with 1 to 3 years experience in analysis of genomics or proteomics data. Proficiency in statistical programming languages (R / SAS / MATLAB) necessary. Experience in experimental design, PCA / PLS, and LME
modeling is required.

Facility with clustering algorithms, microarray analysis, resampling methods preferable. Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of a research project, including study design, data collection, quality assurance, statistical analysis procedures. You must be able to explain methods and statistical analyses and approaches to researchers at varying levels of expertise, and to understand the needs of the investigator in enough detail to plan appropriate designs and analyses. You are flexible, interested in scientific research, willing to learn, have experience in detail-oriented work and adjusting to new challenges. You have a good command of spoken and written English. Knowledge of German is an advantage.
