An opportunity has arisen in a multinational technology company involved in the design, development, manufacturing and marketing of high-end microelectronic products.

The responsibilities of the role are as follows:
· To develop & implement the quality policy to achieve quality objectives across UK & European sites.
· Drive for continuous improvement, improving existing working practices to benefit the business as a whole
· Monitor Quality performance and KPI’s implementing corrective and preventative actions
· Control the QMS, ensuring its effectiveness for providing product and service quality through maintenance and quality auditing
· Ensure product liability including EU declaration of conformity signatory
· QM responsibility for the ISO17025 accredited calibration laboratory

To fulfil these requirements you must have the following skills/experience:
· Be able to fully control all aspects of the Quality department
· Have a background in manufacturing engineering
· Fully conversant with ISO9001 with experience in implementing Quality Management Systems
· Excellent communication and PC skills
· Project management experience and knowledge in Six Sigma is considered an advantage
· Be prepared to work as a hands-on Quality Manager, working side by side with people at all levels of the company
