Lead Clinical Research Associate / Senior Clinical Research Associate - Office Based - Serbia

An exciting opportunity to take a leading role with an expanding Clinical Research Organisation with established global capabilities. The company is seeking high calibre Senior or Lead Clinical Research Associates to work at an international level on trials within the Cardiovascular therapeutic area. As one of the most innovative and scientifically minded CROs this is an appealing opportunity, where you will be working in an adaptive environment in a highly-visible role.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

-Co-ordinate and support the CRAs within the team:
*Assign each of the CRAs trial sites and assist with the coordination of site visits.
*Conduct training sessions
*Ensure that CRAs: resolve all DM queries, comply with Regulatory requirements, safeguard the delivery of supplies to sites, and complete CRF review and transmissions.

-Act as point of contact
*Attend meetings with the trial sponsor, investigators and internal meetings outside of the clinical department.
*Work closely with Clinical Trial Managers, other CRAs and CTAs within the department
*Report significant developments (pre-initiation) to sponsor, Clinical Trial Manager and CRAs

-Ensure site reports are completed and submitted

-Conduct initiation, interim and close-out monitoring visits when required.

-Ensure protocol is adhered to at site level.

Education and Skills:
* Degree in life science/ nursing / medicine. Higher level degree desirable.
* Highly competent / experience as a Clinical Research Associate or Senior Clinical Research Associate.
* Experience should ideally be within large global multi centre trials
* Very strong experience with the field of Cardiovascular studies is essential.
* Proven experience in training junior clinical team members
* Fluent in English and Serbian
