Job Description: Our client are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Technician to join the roofing and cladding division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed technical drawings, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring all designs meet our high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for roofing and cladding projects.
* Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to create precise technical designs.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure designs align with project requirements.
* Modify and revise existing drawings as required by project changes and feedback.
* Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
* Assist in the preparation of project documentation and technical specifications.
* Manage and maintain CAD files and documentation for all projects.
Qualifications:
* Diploma or degree in CAD Technology, Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
* Previous experience in the construction industry, particularly in roofing and cladding, is preferred.
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawing.
* Ability to interpret technical specifications and plans.
