Service Engineer
* Depot based in Gateshead
* Permanent staff position
* Monday to Friday
* Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 depending on experience
An experienced Field Service Engineer is wanted by a growing servicing company to join their fleet on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for responding to technical issues promptly and maintaining mechanical & electrical machinery.
The Role and Responsibilities
* Onsite breakdown repair & servicing of equipment such as FLTs, racking, sweepers & other industrial equipment.
* Essure that jobs are being properly logged and complete to assure maintenance records stay up to date.
* Installation of new/ replacement equipment to clients around the Northeast
* Communicating with clients to inform them of times you will be arriving onsite.
* Keeping up to date with training provided.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
* Previous experience working in a Field Service role
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline
* Experience working on FLTs, access platforms, & other lifting equipment.
* Trouble shooting for both mechanical & electrical issues on lifting equipment.
* Positive attitude & great communication skills
