Children Residential Support Workers

Brook Street Social Care is delighted to be exclusively working in partnership with our valued client, who provides support to children with emotional and behavioral difficulties.

With a brand-new service set to open in early summer this year, we are excited to assist them in recruiting Residential Support Workers to join their organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to be part of a new and dynamic team!

The Company

Our client operates services across the North West, supporting children in residential settings and young adults in supported living environments. With plans for expansion in the coming years, there are ample career progression opportunities for the right candidates.

The Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role within the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:

Working directly with individual children and documenting their learning and development.
Undertaking direct work with children in both the residential centre and the community, promoting their positive development using a solution-focused approach.
Contributing to best practice standards within the company and adhering to all policies and procedures.
Providing one-on-one care to children, ensuring adherence to all safeguarding legislation and minimum standards.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will:

Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
Have experience in social care, ideally within a residential setting.
Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
Be professional, approachable, and personable.
Be assertive when necessary, while remaining calm and considered in any situation.
