MLK Search are recruiting for a Secondary Maths Teacher for a Secondary School site in Liverpool, starting from September. This is a school, who prides itself on focusing on students academic and pastoral needs whilst supporting them to raise their aspirations and fulfil their potential.

Secondary Teacher Role & Responsibilities:
Evaluate student progress through various assessments and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment by managing behaviour, promoting respect, and ensuring the safety of all students.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.
Be a Qualified Teacher (holding QTS or QTLS) with post-qualification teaching experience, and preferably a Maths specialism.
Take responsibility for day-to-day operation of the SEN policy and co-ordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEN or additional needs.
Have demonstrable experience of raising outcomes for pupils with special or additional needs whilst promoting a culture of inclusion.
Be committed to raising the opportunities and progression of our learners and supporting them in all aspects of their learning.
Provide professional guidance to colleagues, working closely with staff, parents, and other agencies.
Act as a positive role model, providing nurturing approach, building key relationships with students and their families.

Secondary Teacher Non-negotiables:
● Must have QTS/QTLS
● Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
● Must have enhanced DBS or willing to purchase one
