Our client offers specialist Logistics services for a wide range of goods across defence, nuclear and medical.
Description
In the role of Global Freight Forwarding Manager you will have the following responsibilities:
Overseeing imports & Exports Dangerous Goods & General Freight
Dealing with HMRC / IATA and any queries
Main point of contact for AEO, dealing with audits.
Arranging import and export custom clearances for airfreight shipments and road freight shipments.
Liaisng with overseas agentsProfile
We are looking to speak with candidates that meet the following criteria:
Experienced managing within the Freight Forwarding sector
Good working knowledge of the dangerous goods or highly regulated sectors
The ability to maximise the financial performance of the team and to encourage the growth of the business
An effective communicator at all levels with the personal motivation and confidence to have a positive impact within the company and with clients
Significant experience in developing management teams within a similar complex logistics operationJob Offer
