Yolk Legal are working with a highly reputable law firm, located in the heart of Cardiff, is seeking a dynamic individual to join their friendly team and assist their busy Conveyancing department.
What You'll Be Doing as a Conveyancing Paralegal
As a Property Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in this Conveyancing department, working closely with the team of experienced lawyers. You will be involved in a diverse range of property-related matters, as well as the below:
Handle quotes, client communication, and instruction processing.
Manage interactions with Land Registry, Mortgage Lenders, and other relevant parties.
Assist in caseload management and legal procedures.
Address file-related inquiries and maintain client service standards.
Ensure efficient and polite client interactions and issue spotting.
Attend to clients, take instructions, and handle correspondence.
Process post and emails according to firm's procedures.
Progress cases in line with professional standards and deadlines.
Submit Land Registry applications and perform necessary searches.
Prepare, close, and archive files.
Undertake required training, including firm, regulatory, and developmental training as needed.The experience you will have as a Conveyancing Paralegal
To thrive in this role, you should demonstrate real potential, possess a strong ambition, and have a keen interest in pursuing a career in Property law. A law or GDL degree, as well as at least a years' experience in Conveyancing.
In addition you will be able to:
Operate effectively as part of a team with excellent organisation skills.
Work under pressure and enjoy being part of a busy team
Computer literacy and use of a Case Management system
