Pay: Minimum £83.34

The Role:

Teaching Personnel are looking for dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to join our team for the upcoming academic year starting in September. This is a perfect opportunity for students who have just left sixth form or college and would like to take a break before joining university. You will gain valuable experience in education, acquiring numerous transferable skills for all aspects of your career journey. Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:

• Supporting students in the classroom with fundamental numeracy and literacy skills.

• Cultivating an engaging and nurturing atmosphere to advance the social and emotional growth of young learners.

• Assisting fellow staff members and contributing to daily school operations.

• Providing personalised assistance to students requiring extra support.

Requirements for Teaching Assistant Role:

• Fluent in Welsh

• Eligibility to work in the UK (either through Passport or Birth certificate)

• Valid proof of address (e.g., Driving License, utility bill/bank statement)

• Reliable referee details (Character references accepted for those without prior work experience)

• Child-only Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance (we can aid in acquiring this!)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
