The role
Develop and implement market strategies for exhibitions
Design a multi-channel marketing campaign to promote the business and exhibitions
Create messages that will resonate with their main target audience
Develop and implement lead generation strategies to drive leads and pipeline growth
Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy
Define key messaging pillars and content themes to drive brand awareness
Monitor campaign performance in real-time, analyse results, and identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement
Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership (reporting to Head of Marketing)
Collaborate with third-party agencies and copywriters, providing clear and concise briefings
Utilise data to drive marketing strategies and decisions
Establish and monitor KPIs
Monitor competitors’ events closely to ensure our messaging remains distinctive and impactful.
The candidate
Proven track record in creating and managing high impact, results-driven inbound marketing campaigns
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong understanding of customer engagement drivers
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across the organisation to drive agreement to plans and strategies.
Proven ability to optimise processes to drive efficiency and improve customer experience
Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and can display experience in planning and executing marketing collateral in a timely and methodical way
Ability to collaborate and work with an external PR and design team
Self-motivated and have excellent skills in nurturing and developing relationships with senior management and clients
Key Requirements
Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in a B2B marketing role
KPI- focused with a track record of achieving measurable results
Data- driven mindset with the ability to work with data, derive conclusions and implement insights
Ability to work with the latest trends in marketing such as AI
Experience in the exhibition or events industry is highly desirable
Strong background in campaign planning, strategy, and messaging
