About the Role: As a Site Manager, you will be at the forefront of a high-profile fit out project in Wolverhampton. Your responsibilities will encompass managing the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring that the project progresses smoothly within schedule and budgetary constraints. You'll be tasked with coordinating with subcontractors, overseeing health and safety compliance, and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities, including subcontractor management and material deliveries.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections to mitigate risks.
Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective measures to keep the project on track.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to address any issues and ensure client satisfaction.
Maintain accurate documentation, including site reports, progress updates, and safety records.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably within the fit out sector.
Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification is mandatory.
First Aid
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage on-site teams effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, health, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite.
