Job Duties:

The KS1-KS2 Teacher BD5 is responsible for planning and delivering lessons to students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This includes creating engaging and interactive learning experiences, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to support their development. The teacher should also collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the overall well-being and academic success of the students.

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Relevant degree in Education or related field

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong understanding of the national curriculum

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

Preferred Qualifications:

- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

- Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)

Working Conditions:

The KS1-KS2 Teacher BD5 will work in a school setting, following the school calendar and timetable. The role may require occasional participation in extracurricular activities or parent meetings outside of regular school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
