Are you an experienced SEND Teacher / Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Teacher?
Can you teach and support in a child-centred manner?
TeacherActive are working with a large specialist school in Doncaster and we are in need of a SEND Teacher / Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Teacher to provide long term cover in a KS3/4 group, delivering a cross-curricular timetable to students with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD and SMEH.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy but welcoming school with a fantastic ethos.
The right SEND Teacher / Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Teacher will have the following:
• Qualified Teacher Status, 6 months prior SEND experience
• Flexible and able to "think on your feet"
• Capable of planning your own lessons, activities and resources
• Adapting tasks to meet the needs of individual children
• Effective behaviour management skills
• Effective communication with members of internal staff
