An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Fitter/Steel Erector to join a well-established manufacturer on a permanent basis, with working away rates, travelling time paid at overtime rate, 30 days holiday, free parking at depot, and ongoing training and development.
This company is a specialist in construction metal fabrication, and they are looking for experienced Site Fitters/Steel Erectors to join their team around the country. They are looking to add to their site fitting team, to prepare and install products on site.
Duties of a Site Fitter/Steel Erector:
Installation of Steel works on various sites around the UK
Install Balustrades, handrails and staircases
Travel around the UK
Manage time
Adhere to H&S
Essential for the Fitter/Steel Erector:
Must have experience of structural and secondary steel (staircases, balustrading, canopies etc) fitting.
Flexibility while working away
In date CSCS Skilled card
Full Driving License.
Have necessary qualifications or time served and experience within a similar industry.
Benefits of the role of Site Fitter/Steel Erector:
Hourly rate of £16.00
Overtime available at uplifted rates
Working away rates
Travelling time paid at overtime rate
30 days holiday
Permanent contract after completion of probation
