I am recruiting a Paint Shop Manager for my client based on the outskirts of Scarborough, this role is due to continued growth and expansion
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30am -5.15pm, Friday 8.30am- 3.00pm
Salary: Up to 48k per annum DOE
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all protective coatings (multi-coat paint systems, primer, intumescent, sealer paints) are applied according to the specified requirements.
Oversee the paint QA team, providing accurate, concise, and objective reports on all coating integrity inspections.
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders including estimating, drawing office, production, dispatch, project management, and construction teams.Requirements:
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration.
Competency in paint technical support and resource planning.
Proven experience in a painting environment, preferably with a background in Manufacturing, Paint Spraying or Inspection.
Experience of leading a team.Benefits
