Are you an experienced Fabricator Welder looking to join a company who is globally well known but still carries the family feel. Based at their site in Prestonpans, Scotland. You will have experience of sheet metal fabrication, as well as TIG & MMA welding of stainless steel, mild steel and copper. Offering an hourly rate of £15-16 per hour + pension + holidays + a number of other benefits

The Role:
You will be responsible for the handcrafting and forming of products to ensure production schedules are met
Fabrication of equipment
Sheet metal work fabrication - marking out, cutting, rolling, folding, drilling etc
TIG and MMA welding of Stainless Steel, Mild Steel and Copper
Reading engineering drawings
Working safely and adhering to company policies
Site work as and when needed (driving license required)
Working Monday to Friday - 37.5 hour week
Hourly rate is graded dependant on experience:
£15 per hour - Can perform basic fabrication tasks and be willing to undertake some training
£15.50 per hour - Experience of fabricating on vessels and tanks or similar
£16 per hour - high level competencies across fabrication and welding
Experience:
Experienced sheet metal worker / fabricator / welder / pipefitter
TIG welding experience is essential
MMA welding experience is advantageous
Ability to adapt to new processes and practices
Display innovative thinking and sharing ideas for continuous improvements
Ability to work independently
Willingness to work hard in a physically demanding environment
Clean Driving Licence
First Aid at work certificate would be advantageous
