Job Description
Operate two or more machines that produce drawn metal, stamped and formed products.
Operate associated pressroom equipment such as the decolier, etc.
Use material handling equipment to move raw material, finished goods and supplies.
Perform quality checks as per control plans to produce defect free products
Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet specifications and dimensions.
Keep production machines properly lubricated and perform normal maintenance of equipment.
Keep coolant at proper operating levels in machines.
Accurately keep required records for each job running, including routing cards, production slips, charts, etc.
Maintain a thorough understanding of scrap handling procedure.
Perform regular checks of the production area to ensure compliance with 5S standards
Follow all procedures as outlined in the Quality System.
Follow all safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned or directed.
