We're currently recruiting for our client, the major renewable energy developer and IPP for the offshore wind farms in APAC. With extensive project development experience in the development, construction, operation, and maintenance, they have established themselves as one of the few offshore wind companies in the world that have a proven track record across the life cycle of offshore wind farms. With a pipeline of offshore wind projects across Taiwan and APAC.

Contract: Full-Time Permanent Staff
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Planning of Geophysical site investigation campaigns for offshore wind farm under different stage of the development, including drafting the Employment Requirements and Scope of Works.
Manage and maintaining the Geological, Geophysical and Geotechnical database by GIS.
Manage key geophysical datasets and ensure integrated analysis of geophysical datasets along all phases of windfarm development, construction and operation.
Developing, maintaining and improving seismostratigraphic models for windfarm sites and alignment with the geotechnical engineers and windfarm layouting group.
Unexploded ordnance survey and identification experience in connection with both on- and offshore works as well as associated software packages.
Risk assessments and management related to ordnance, boulders, archaeology, seabed mobility, consenting requirements and geohazards in general.
Alignment of geophysical and geotechnical data to inform foundations, cable route and installation engineering and provide analysis of ground related risks.
Cooperation with all packages during windfarm development, especially foundations and installation packages.
Project manage technical projects with a shorter or longer time frame.
Contribute to project planning and scheduling ensuring that any deviations are identified and confirmed in a timely manner.
Manage Geophysical Investigation survey risks / action tracker / interfaces.
Ensure high focus on HSSE & quality are maintained.
Trouble shooting and risk evaluation in all project phases.
Requirements for the Role:
You possess good interpersonal skills and can communicate technical messages in a clear and constructive way both internally and to external partners.
Degree in Geology, Geophysics or Marine Sciences or similar.
Experience from the field of wind or oil and gas sector, experience in shallow geophysical survey interpretation and site investigation data.
Good analytical skills.
Mastering the Geographic Information System (GIS) software such as (but not limited to) QGIS.
Ability to translate and communicate technical detail into commercial impact.
Good communication skills.
You are fluent in English, both verbally and written. Language skill for Mandarin, Japanese or Korean are appreciated
