We're currently recruiting for our client, the major renewable energy developer and IPP for the offshore wind farms in APAC. With extensive project development experience in the development, construction, operation, and maintenance, they have established themselves as one of the few offshore wind companies in the world that have a proven track record across the life cycle of offshore wind farms. With a pipeline of offshore wind projects across Taiwan and APAC.

Contract: Full-Time Permanent Staff
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Planning of Geotechnical site investigation campaigns for offshore wind farm under different stage of the development, including drafting the Employment Requirements and Scope of Works.
Manage and maintaining the Geological and Geotechnical database.
Manage key geotechnical datasets and ensure integrated analysis of geotechnical datasets along all phases of windfarm development, construction and operation.
Developing geotechnical design input and analyses for windfarm sites and alignment with the geophysical engineers and windfarm layouting group. Alignment of geophysical and geotechnical data to inform foundations, cable route and installation engineering and provide analysis of ground related risks.
Cooperation with all packages during windfarm development, especially foundations and installation packages.
Supply input to foundations load simulation and design and cooperation on handling geotechnical foundation design tasks.
Delivering geotechnical and foundation work packages within Health and Safety and Environmental as well as project programme objectives.
Project manage technical projects with a shorter or longer time frame.
Contribute to project planning and scheduling ensuring that any deviations are identified and confirmed in a timely manner.
Manage Geotechnical Investigation survey risks / action tracker / interfaces.
Ensure high focus on HSSE & quality are maintained.
Trouble shooting and risk evaluation in all project phases.
Requirements for the Role:
You possess good interpersonal skills and can communicate technical messages in a clear and constructive way both internally and to external partners.
Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or similar.
Experience from the field of offshore wind energy or offshore structural engineering.
Experience of geotechnical/geological analysis, numerical modelling packages and relevant design and geotechnical investigation codes/standards.
Good analytical skills.
Good understanding on the concept of Geographic Information System (GIS).
Ability to translate and communicate technical detail into commercial impact.
Good communication skills.
You are fluent in English, both verbally and written. Language skill for Mandarin, Japanese or Korean are appreciated
