Our client, a market leader in the Defence Maritime industry, is looking for an experienced Programme Manager to join their Projects Department!

Key Responsibilties:
As a Programme Manager you will...
* Supervise project portfolio, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
* Manage communication with customers, Senior Management, and team for program success.
* Coordinate with Finance for financial goals and reporting accuracy.
* Prioritise and plan project activities to meet business milestones.
* Lead bid preparation and oversee project execution and governance.
* Motivate and mentor team, fostering collaboration and goal achievement.
* Support Supply Chain and act as Deputy Director as needed.
* Facilitate knowledge sharing and succession planning.
* Fulfill other duties as assigned by Senior Director Programs.
Requirements:
For this Programme Manager position you will need...
* Programme Management experience and a track record of seeing the project through the full lifecycle.
* Business/Engineering Degree.
* Knowledge of best practice Project Management techniques.
* Experience in successfully leading and managing a team.
* Commercial elements of Project Management experience such as managing contracts and supporting bids and proposals.
* Experience liasing with internal and external key stakeholders
* Working knowledge of IFS or ERP systems.
Desired:
* Defence/Aerospace/Maritime/SSRO regulations background.
* APM qualified
