Position: Assistant Ecologist

Location: Derby

Salary: £23,000 - £27,000

Whether you are an Assistant Ecologist or an established Ecologist seeking the perfect opening, this role offers an exciting prospect.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Ecologist or Ecologist to join a rapidly growing company with four offices already, that values personal and technical development while providing exposure to prestigious projects with major UK companies. We are especially interested in speaking to those candidates with a real passion for Botany and BNG, as well as any who hold a Bat 1 or Bat 2 licence (other licences also considered).

In this role, you will take charge of leading and coordinating the technical aspects of projects, ensuring a high level of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility. Project coordination, client and stakeholder collaboration, and showcasing the company's capabilities to potential clients will also be integral to your responsibilities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

* Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field

* Proven experience in a UK consultancy

* Report Writing (training given)

* Protected Species licences (Bat ideally) are desirable, but not essential
