Inspector

Hello,

My client is engaged in the design, development, manufacture and test of niche products for the aerospace and defence industries. They are currently in need of an Inspector to join their team in Southend.

ROLE: Verify the conformity of component parts and assemblies

DUTIES:

* Inspect parts and assemblies in accordance with applicable data package requirements, using a range of

* measuring equipment including micrometres, verniers, co-ordinate measuring machines and faro arms,

* Inspect component parts to verify applicable machine tool set up processes,

* Inspect component parts and assemblies in accordance with batch sampling requirements,

* Complete formal First Article inspection activities,

* Complete component and assembly testing in accordance with Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP),

* Process / complete non-conformance related documentation (when applicable),

* Support inspection related tasks / activities at non company locations (when required),

* Complete / authorise formal release certification (when required),

* To adhere to Company policies and procedures,

* To help create and maintain a safe working environment and observe the published Health and Safety

* procedures, and

* To carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant, when required.

SKILLS:

* Reasonable experience working within an engineering environment

* Experience of core manufacturing processes

* Proficient on IT systems, including MS Office and SAP

* Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment

* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

LOCATION: SOUTHEND-ON-SEA

SALARY: £14.46 P/H
