We are searching for a confident, knowledgeable construction director to work with our leading construction client who promote some unique methodologies using LEAN management systems and value adding techniques to deliver a project that is north of £600m front end build throught to project hand over.
Essential
Knowledge of relevant geography and network capability.
Knowledge of Link up and Company Management System
LEAN management Systems
Able to integrate new orders in the Company Management System
Able to work under pressure
Good communication skills and a customer focused approach.
You will be responsible for the Management and overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
The Successful construction director will develop and implement strategies to optimise construction operations which include streamlining processes, improving productivity, and reducing costs.
Ensure adequate arrangements exist for effective risk assessments.
Be responsible for ensuring adequate records are kept for staff concerning safety issues such as safe working hours, competence, certificates etc.
Provide effective leadership and guidance to the construction operations team
Foster strong working relationships with clients and project teams
Seek out new tender opportunities
Manage and allocate resources efficiently including labour, equipment, and materials
Identify areas for improvement within the construction operations process and develop and implement strategies to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and profitability.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Establish and enforce quality control standards. Improve commercial effectiveness on projects and work alongside the commercial team ensuring projects run closely with their profitability and targets
