Maintenance Engineer

Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm
Job purpose
To assist the Engineering Manager in making sure machinery and equipment runs smoothly and effectively. To complete all relevant paperwork in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
 Finding and fixing faults
 Overhauling and replacing parts according to schedule
 Responding immediately to machinery breakdowns
 Carrying out scheduled preventative checks on machinery and parts
 Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
 Obtaining specialist components, fixtures or fittings
 Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
 Managing stocks of supplies and equipment
 Escort contractors to place of work and assist when needed, making sure all appropriate paperwork has been implemented, and contractors are correctly attired before maintenance begins.
