Role Overview:
Verso Recruitment is thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for a Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join a prestigious technology firm. This role involves spearheading the creation of innovative products and improving existing ones. You'll be at the heart of R&D, product innovation, and launching new products. Your expertise will shape technological advancements, establishing you as a leading expert in the field.
  
Key Responsibilities:
Create and design advanced products focusing on electronic circuitry, schematic capture, and PCB layout.
Collaborate closely with various departments to ensure the smooth delivery and integration of products.
Regularly report project progress to senior management.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing technical aspects to ensure objectives are met.
Lead project teams, including external contractors, and maintain customer relationships as needed.
Conduct research to stay updated on the latest technology trends and integrate them into the product roadmap.
Work with senior engineers to develop and enforce engineering standards and processes. Success Metrics:
Timely and budget-conscious project delivery, meeting high-quality standards.
Effective communication of project status, risks, and opportunities.
Ensuring products meet specified performance and quality metrics.
Producing thorough research reports on technological advancements.
Mentoring and developing team members in specialised areas of technology.   
Qualifications and Skills:
Essential:
At least 5 years in a similar role with hands-on experience in:
Schematic Capture
PCB Layout
Analog and Digital Circuit Design
Microcontrollers
Simulation Tools
Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
Ability to handle multiple projects at once.   
Preferred:
Experience in project management.
Ambition for career growth and development.
Familiarity with Altium Designer, MATLAB, MathWorks Simulink, and LabVIEW.
Basic software development knowledge.
