Job Title: Water Hygiene Remedial Engineer
Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.
Salary / Benefits £24K - £35K + Training + Benefits

Our client is a leading player within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry who are now in the market for a Water Hygiene Remedial Engineer in the North East region. This role would suit someone who has extensive experience carrying out remedial plumbing duties e.g., deadleg removal, replacing, and rerouting, and replacing copper and PVC pipework alongside various L8 compliance services across Heavy Industry, Commercial, and Healthcare sites. The successful candidate must be happy to travel extensively in line with company and client needs.

Candidates will be expected to travel within the role and will be responsible for covering the North / Scotland region.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Will hold the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in plumbing.
" Extensive experience working hands on as an engineer / plumber for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
" Able to communicate with colleagues and clients efficiently.
" Excellent time management skills.
" Good IT skills.

The Role:
" Water sampling and temperature monitoring.
" Carrying out mains disinfections.
" TMV servicing and failsafes.
" CWST cleans and disinfections.
" Deadleg removals.
" Showerhead cleans and descales.
" Flushing of little used outlets.
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Carrying out fault finding on site, ensuring that any issues are dealt with efficiently.
" Installing, rerouting, and removing pipework, copper and PVC.
" Filling out onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
