Job Title: Part-Time Cleaner

Location: Cambridge, UK

Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4 hours per day (AM or PM shifts available)

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and diligent Part-Time Cleaner to join our team at a bustling building site located in Cambridge. As a Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the premises, ensuring a safe and organized environment for workers.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning Duties: Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces across designated areas of the building site.

Waste Management: Collect and dispose of waste materials appropriately, adhering to site recycling and waste management policies.

Restroom Maintenance: Ensure that restroom facilities are kept clean, stocked with supplies, and sanitized regularly to maintain hygiene standards.

Common Area Cleaning: Clean and maintain common areas such as break rooms, meeting rooms, and corridors to uphold a tidy and welcoming environment.

Adherence to Safety Procedures: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning duties, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Reporting Maintenance Issues: Report any maintenance or repair requirements promptly to the site supervisor to ensure timely resolution.

Requirements:

Previous Cleaning Experience: Prior experience in a cleaning role, preferably in a similar environment such as a construction site or industrial facility.

Reliability: Demonstrate reliability and punctuality in attendance to ensure consistent coverage of scheduled cleaning shifts.

Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning, including lifting and moving heavy objects, and standing for extended periods.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of all areas within the building site.

Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to interact with site supervisors and other team members, as well as to report any issues or concerns.

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the UK.
