Payroll Assistant

Payroll Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for a major client and large business in Warrington.

Our client operates in an engineering environment throughout the UK ( and some times overseas)

The role offers a competitive salary of £30,000 per year, full-time hybrid working. (WFH2 )

We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team, with the flexibility to work both remotely and in the office for added convenience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in processing company expenses via an online portal.
• Generate monthly expenses reports.
• Provide support to the payroll team with weekly administrative tasks.
• Organize and distribute payroll queries to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to general administrative inquiries.
• Assist in weekly sick pay reporting and processing.
• Gather and compile payroll information for the team's use.
• Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls within the payroll department.
• Support the payroll team with various payroll-related administrative duties.

Requirements:
• Previous experience in a payroll or administrative role is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Sage50 Payroll is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to provide support to the entire payroll team and collaborate with the payroll manager.
• This role offers opportunities for growth within the payroll team as the company continues to expand
