Hospo Talent are currently working with New Lanark Hotel which is nestled in the picturesque Clyde Valley and is known for its historic charm. We take pride in offering a refined dining experience with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We are currently seeking a dedicated and talented Chef de Partie to join our client's culinary team.
As a Chef de Partie, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day culinary operations. Working closely with their Head Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet our high standards of quality and presentation. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious chef to further their career in a dynamic and esteemed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute and oversee the preparation of dishes according to recipes and specifications.
* Take ownership of a specific section in the kitchen and maintain high standards of consistency.
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
* Monitor inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and maintain proper stock rotation.
* Adhere to strict sanitation and safety standards, following all health and safety regulations.
* Contribute to maintaining a positive and professional kitchen environment.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role in a reputable kitchen.
* Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment.
* Creative flair and a passion for creating visually appealing and delicious dishes.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting.
