Warehouse Operative/Parcel Sorter

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for various duties such as materials handling, picking and packing orders, and maintaining inventory stock. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting up to 15kg and the ability to operate warehouse equipment.

Duties:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials in designated areas
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other warehouse equipment
- Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock counts
- Operate warehouse management systems (AS400) to track inventory movements
- Ensure proper labelling and packaging of products for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis
- Proficient in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (AS400) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory stock levels
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members
- High school diploma or equivalent

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions are also compensated.
