Year 5 Teaching Assistant

1:1 Autism/ASD
£90- £110 per day
SANZA Teaching Agency are currently working with a lovely close-knit primary school in Ealing who are seeking a teaching assistant to work 1:1 with a boy in year 5 who has Autism (ASD). The role is to start in September 2024, with the possibility of June/July start for the right candidate.
The school is located in the London Borough of Ealing, conveniently located close to both the Central Line East (Acton station) and the Overground (Acton Central station)
The child has Autism (ASD) and displays challenging behaviour. The child responds well to a strong, supportive adult and is able to model appropriate behaviour when he has boundaries and a trustworthy adult to assist him.
About you..
Have previous experience as a teaching assistant
Have previous experience working with special needs/SEND/Autism/ASD and challenging behaviour
Have a strong ability to build rapport
Be able to enforce routine and boundaries
Be a positive role model
Be fun and engaging and want to get involved with teaching and learning and make a positive contribution all- roundNext steps..
