Production Manager

Exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to join a fast growing Medical Diagnostics manufacturer. The incoming individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production operations, procedures and the Quality Management System and specifically managing the assembly, auto assembly, glass printing and maintenance teams.

The role:

Manage the manufacturing processes, systems, procedures, and resources to achieve the business objectives and growth plan.
Ensure that departments can supply high quality finished products.
Work alongside the R&D departments to offer support in relation to new products and developments.
Assist in departmental budgeting.
Formulate strategic objectives and spearhead projects.
Generate, communicate and manage the production schedules.
Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers of service and products for the benefit of the company.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the production department, implementing lean manufacturing principles and fostering innovation and cost saving.

About you:

Proven experience of working in a hi-tech and dynamic factory environment.
Experience using, developing and implementing bespoke automation solutions.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail.
Experience working in a regulated environment, ideally ISO:13485.
