Property Maintenance Manager
Salary: £59,200 per annum (full time or pro rata for part time)
Location: Hybrid (With one day a week within the Dorchester office)
Hours: Full time (35 hours)

About the role
Reporting to our Property Director, you will be required to effectively oversee contracts for responsive repairs and void works, ensuring that services delivered are customer focussed and delivered to agreed budgets. With the use of external consultants where required you will ensure procurement is planned and undertaken in line with regulatory requirements.
As our Property Maintenance Manager, you will:
* Effectively manage and develop the team, ensuring that services are delivered in a customer focussed way Inc. engaging with customers on our services.
* Ensure responsive repair contracts are meeting contractual KPI’s and poor performance is challenged and addressed.
* Develop and set the regional responsive repairs and voids budgets and deliver the service within agreed budgets
* Plan and oversee procurement of long-term contracts, instructing external expertise as required
* Write and review policies and procedures for planned, responsive and void management services.
* Effectively manage void properties to ensure repair works are planned and undertaken swiftly and the properties are re-let in line with Hastoe’s target of 20 days.
About you
The successful candidate will be required to have;
* Associate Member of RICS or equivalent
* Recognised surveying qualification and evidence of continuing professional development
* Excellent people manager with proven experience of managing a team
* Experience of overseeing contracts in a repairs or planned maintenance environment
* Experience in surveying and diagnosing complex building defects
* Excellent IT skills with the ability to analyse data and communicate finding.
* Knowledge and experience of the social housing sector specifically Property Services.
