Job title: Site Agent

Abatec are currently recruiting for a Site Agent to join our client, a Tier 1 Civil Engineering contractor, who deliver a range of infrastructure and civil engineering projects as part of long-term frameworks.

The successful individual will initially be working on a bridge replacement on the M4 near Bristol. The demolition of the bridge is planned for Summer 2024, with the project expected to take around 2 years to complete.

As Site Agent you will:

* Be responsible for delivering schemes from pre-construction to handover.

* Manage day to day operations on site, including labour/plant/materials allocation, temporary works, health and safety.

* Ensure that projects are completed on budget, monitoring cost vs value

* Be responsible for ensuring key milestones are met and the project is delivered within programme deadlines and to our clients technical specifications.

* Liaise regularly with Senior Management, providing programme and progress reports.

Our client requires a Site Agent with:

* ONC/HNC/Degree or in Civil Engineering or equivalent

* Experience of working in a similar position within the Civils/Highways sector

* SMSTS, NRSWA Supervisor card and CSCS Managers card

Salary/Benefits:

* £50,000 - £58,000
