Etching Operative

Our client design and manufacture precision forged and machined components and are currently recruiting for Etchers to join their team. As an Etcher you will be carrying out processes on metals to ensure a satisfactory finish.

Hours of work will be Rotating earlies and afternoons, rotating weekly (6am to 2pm Monday to Friday) and then 2pm to 12am (Monday to Thursday)

Salary £26,000 to £28,000 per annum plus competitive benefits package.

Reporting directly to the Department Leader , your key responsibilities will include:

* Assist on component operations and process within the forge department

* Loading of materials and components into forge machinery and presses as required

* Carry out visual checks on machined parts and ensure they are to a satisfactory standard

To be successful in the role of an Etcher you will hold the following skills and experience;

* Experience of working in a heavy manufacturing or heavy industrial production environment

* Understanding of reading and interpreting instructions

* Good communicator and a "can do" attitude"

* An attention to detail and able to work meticulously

This position is based near Redditch and is easily commutable from Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Studley, South Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster and Stourbridge.
