SCHOOL CARETAKER / PREMISES MANAGER - PLEASE APPLY!!!
Pay: £12.82 - £14 per hour (depending on your experience)

Information about you:
* You are an experienced school Caretaker / Premises Manager
* You have worked in a school setting before, looking after the building and assisting the Site Manager
* You have a great track record and are looking for a new challenge!
About the role:
* Working closely with the Site Manager to ensure that the school building is safe, secure and maintained well
* You will be a key holder and will open and lock up the school building
* You will be tasked with maintenance throughout the school, responding to reports of where the building requires attention / fixing / repair / maintenance
* You will assist in maintain the cleanliness of the school alongside of a team of cleaning staff
* You will be able to use a range of tools
* You will be confident in
* You will ensure that the school grounds are safe, clean and tidy
* You will be on hand to respond to any alarms that sound
* You will work well as part of a team and help other members of staff when required
* You will understand how to safely lift heavy items (trained in manual handling) and ensure your safety with moving any equipment / tables / heavy items
* You will be trained in Health and Safety
* You will be able to help with repairs and odd jobs around school
* You will be able to support in the ordering of products and be able to manage an itinerary where appropriate
* You will assist in the school's waste management and up-keep
* You will help with any pest control if necessary
* You will attend meetings when required
* You will be professional and reliable
More details:
* Applicants must have a previous track record of working as a school caretaker
* Clean Enhanced DBS on the update service is required
* Able to work on a long term basis during this placement
