Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from experienced Electricians in Wakefield interested in a full time, permanent position working for a leading facilities maintenance company based in Wakefield.

As a Commercial Electrician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings and facilities. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical components, helping our clients to meet their operational needs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems.

Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify electrical issues and implement effective solutions.

Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to plan and execute electrical installations and upgrades.

Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards to ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations.

Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to coordinate work schedules and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Provide guidance and support to apprentices and junior electricians as needed.

Qualifications:

Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical systems.

NVQ 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering qualification.

18th edition qualification.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial electrical work.

Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Effective communication skills and customer service orientation.
