An exciting, long term contract opportunity has arisen in my clients Head Office in Central Wakefield. They are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to lead projects across a range of sectors, including, residential, industrial, education, refurbishment, mixed use and commercial.

In this role you will lead structural design elements on projects as required and undertake detailed engineering design of a wide variety of buildings. Working closely with, monitoring and assisting with the performances of Engineers and Technicians, you will be expected to coordinate and manage work with other members of the Design Team.

Ensuring appropriate service/design decisions are met, you will also be expected to keep senior staff informed of important and relevant design decisions to make sure that the objectives of the company and the client are achieved. You will coordinate your work with other members of the project team and deliver project work within agreed deadlines and within budget

As an experienced and preferably Structural Engineer, we would expect that you will be able to demonstrate extensive building structures design experience with a proficiency of using Tekla.

This role is for a minimum of 6 months and falls outside of IR35 scope.
