As part of their ongoing commitment to meeting the needs of their community, Audiology Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced AUDIOLOGIST (or Hearing Instrument Specialist) to join their team in Belmont, MA.
The AUDIOLOGIST will provide comprehensive audiological evaluations, perform specialized tests, and create treatment plans for patients while taking full responsibility for the complete patient journey.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate hearing function and determine the extent of hearing loss.
* Develop customized hearing care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, lifestyle, and preferences.
* Dispense and fit hearing aids, including both custom-fit and ready-to-wear models, ensuring optimal comfort and functionality.
* Provide ongoing support and counseling to patients on hearing aid use, maintenance, and adjustment.
* Specialize in the fitting and management of Lyric hearing aids, offering patients innovative solutions for discreet and hassle-free hearing.
REQUIREMENTS
* Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
* Valid state licensure as an Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist (or eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts).
* Prior experience working in a busy audiology practice or similar clinical setting is preferred.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with patients of all ages.
* Detail-oriented approach with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
* Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality in patient care.
