Project Manager- Temp to Staff

Local Projects is looking for a full-time Project Manager to join our cross-functional studio. The right candidate is an adaptable person with a growth mindset, an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail, and an outsized ability to facilitate teamwork. 
The position requires an understanding of interdisciplinary team management and experience in a client-facing role. You will work with designers, technologists, and content developers and lead projects to successful completion in partnership with studio Creative Directors. This role is tactical and strategic. Through critical thinking and problem-solving, you will drive project delivery through key phases, remaining mindful of budget, scope, and standards for creative excellence.
You are nimble and perceptive, regularly recalibrating your approach to suit the evolving needs of each project. You shrewdly anticipate risk and effectively prioritize your teams’ time and effort to ensure projects align seamlessly with client and studio objectives.
Note:
Minimum of 5 years experience in experiential (digital + physical) project management 
Able to travel as necessary (US & Global)
Must be able to work on-site in our NYC Studio/Hybrid 
Primary residence must be in NY/Tri-State or Washington DC area
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Lead projects to successful completion from concept through installation 
Manage 2-3 projects simultaneously 
Work collaboratively with Creative Directors, Project Directors, Executive Account Directors, and other studio leadership.
Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for our clients with the support of Project Directors.
Daily management of a multidisciplinary project team, defining and managing the successful completion of tasks and deliverables  
Shape and draft project and phase scopes under the supervision of studio leadership
Manage vendor and subcontractor scope and deliverables 
Maintain project budgets through actuals tracking and reporting
Provide meticulous written documentation including but not limited to note-taking, agenda development, and client status reports
Skills & Experience
Proven completion of all design phases (Concept through Production, Installation, and Warranty)
Professional composure and ability to work with executive-level clients and internal leadership
Strong scheduling and time management skills
Excellent writing, document preparation, and presentation skills
Experience leading multiple projects at one time and comfortable with a fast-paced, collaborative work environment
Superior communication skills with demonstrated ability to diplomatically navigate challenging situations
Proficient in Word, Excel, Google Suite, and Keynote; with working knowledge of 10,000 Ft (Resource Management), Airtable, Jira, Miro
Salary:
$75 to $95 per hour -commensurate with experience
