Objective
This position is responsible for the quality control of general business operations, increasing client satisfaction, and working productively with Independent Contractors (IC). The Night Manager must be able to work independently and with others, in any type of facility including but not limited to; industrial, manufacturing, office, medical, retail, etc. The Night Manager must also be able to exercise good judgment in reporting client concerns to management and seeking the involvement of others in order to best meet clients’ needs.
This position is 4 PM to 12 AM Monday thru Friday
You must have your own vehicle.
You will be traveling through out the Asheville and WNC market to ensure quality control.
Essential functions
Review scope of work and ensure quality assurance per account to retain existing business and gain new business.
Communicate with Facility Account Manager each day and report issues that need immediate attention; to include the details in the nightly recap via email or phone message; record in CRM.
Manage inspections, customer complaints, customer requests, and new client starts by inputting in CRM.
Execute City Wide’s New-Start Policy, Customer Compliant Policy and other operational policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with client policies and procedures, approved cleaning tools and equipment and their proper use.
Maintain time records for Building Manager, Service Reps, etc.
Train new Service Reps and manage performance and/or attendance disciplinary issues; inform DM of performance issues.
Report all disciplinary issues, allegations of harassment, workplace injuries, employee terminations and leave of absence requests to Human Resources.
Maintain City Wide equipment and report any issues to Account Manager.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma required or equivalent experience in commercial janitorial services industry.
Three years of prior experience in management; coaching, motivating, developing, and leading a team in multi-unit or locations.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be innovative and strive for continuous process improvement.
Working knowledge of Customer Relation Management (CRM).
MS Office, Internet skills required.
