Senior Accountant - Fixed Assets

Job Description
The role maintains and reconciles general ledger accounts and supports the monthly accounting close. The incumbent plays an integral role in establishing and implementing financial processes.

Completes assigned month end closing procedures in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
Performs ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
Assists in implementing best practices and process improvements for accounting and financial reporting to include detailed documentation of processes and controls.
Implements systems or processes to eliminate variances between subsidiary systems and the GL control accounts.
Prepares journal entries with sufficient support and in compliance with GAAP.
Interfaces with other departments to research, obtain support for assigned accounts.
Prepares schedules and supports the annual audit and quarterly reviews.
Works with multiple systems and ensures data is transferred correctly to the GL.
