Project Engineer

Qualis Corporation is seeking a project engineer to lead the development of a compact space based RF payload with demonstrated develop position, experience developing space hardware solutions to join our team of well qualified, diverse individuals at our Huntsville, AL office.
Essential Functions:
Develop and apply advanced hardware design methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems.
Lead team of subject matter experts to define technical problem and architect solutions
Develop and present technical white papers and executive level briefings.
Develop program technical approach and technical roadmap
Develop technical program plan, identify technical milestones, and ensure progress against the technical objectives.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5+ years of experience
Experience with space electronics design practices
Experience with design engineering, project engineering, and systems engineering principles
Experience with digital signal processing systems and radio frequency systems
Ability to work with a dynamic, skilled team on high–impact, high–visibility projects
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
BS in EE or a related technical field preferred
Experience with building software interfaces to hardware
Possess excellent time–management skills to contribute to multiple tasks concurrently
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Possess excellent presentation skills
