Overview:
Join the Department of Children and Families (DCF) in shaping the future of child welfare technology as a Lead MuleSoft Developer. DCF is committed to enhancing Connecticuts child welfare information system, and we need your expertise to drive the development of the Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS). As a Lead Developer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining existing .NET applications, spearheading the development of the new SACWIS system, and ensuring seamless integration with Salesforce.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of API solutions.
Utilize MuleSoft to create new data exchanges and integrate them with Salesforce.
Provide support for BizTalk processes and ensure smooth operation in production environments.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and integrate applications effectively.
Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and maintain technical documentation.
Assist in Quality Assurance planning related to data exchange processes.
Facilitate migration and integration of data and processes from legacy systems.
Contribute to the development of information systems blueprints and design patterns, promoting service-oriented architecture (SOA).
Collaborate with the Application Development Manager on key design and architecture decisions, as well as resource planning.
Provide guidance and training to team members.
Required Skills and Experience:
10+ years of experience in IT with a focus on software development.
Strong expertise in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2016+ with at least 5 years of experience.
Proficiency in SOA principles with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
In-depth understanding of MuleSoft and Salesforce, with at least 5 years of experience in both.
Experience with BizTalk deployment best practices, MSBuild, and PowerShell.
Proficient in C#, WCF, JQuery, XML, JSON, WebApi, SOAP, .NET, and JavaScript.
Integration experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, WCF).
Familiarity with database development using SQL Server.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Azure Service Bus.
Proficiency in database development using SQL Server, including creating database objects.
Experience with Azure cloud services.
Administrative Considerations:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
Oversight provided by DCF IS Management.
Compliance with vendor qualification, DCF Child Protection Background Check, and DCF Non-disclosure Agreement.
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
