Chef

We are looking for skilled Chef to join our team at La Crema outlets. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in kitchen operations, a passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, chopping, and marinating.
• Support chefs in cooking dishes by performing tasks like stirring, frying, and grilling.
• Help in plating dishes attractively and ensuring consistency in presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing utensils.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and report shortages to the kitchen manager.
• Properly dispose of kitchen waste and ensure recycling procedures are followed.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage.
•  Ensure kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Occasionally interact with customers, especially in open kitchen environments, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the development and testing of new recipes and menu items.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred.
• Basic cooking and food preparation skills
• Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Capability to lift heavy pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Flexibility with work hours and adaptability to different kitchen environments
