Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to lead high-impact construction projects in the rapidly growing data centre sector? You will be required to relocate to Portugal and spend 5 days per week on site for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Work closely with senior leadership to deliver on key business objectives.
Client Engagement: Establish, nurture, and sustain meaningful client relationships, ensuring their goals and expectations are met.
Project Delivery: Oversee the successful delivery of high-quality data centre projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and technical requirements.
Contract Administration: Serve as the project lead in roles such as contract administrator, employer's agent, or project manager, guiding projects from inception to completion.
Client Presentations: Prepare and deliver clear and concise project updates and outcomes to clients.
Bid Management: Develop competitive bids and proposals for upcoming projects and service offerings.
Risk Management: Provide timely insights to senior management regarding any project issues that could impact delivery or professional indemnity (PI) insurance.Why Join Us:

We're looking for a highly skilled Project Manager with a background in managing mission-critical construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the complexities involved in delivering data centres and similar technical infrastructure.
Experience and Skills:
Sector Expertise: Proven experience managing large-scale data centres or similarly complex projects (e.g., life sciences, tech infrastructure).
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Portuguese construction regulations and technical standards.
Project Management Skills: Extensive experience in applying advanced project management techniques to deliver high-stakes projects.
Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with legislation related to construction contracts and building standards.
Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Portuguese, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and financial management skills.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Collaboration: Team-oriented with the flexibility for national travel as required.Qualifications:
