Position Overview:
 
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our client's kitchen brigade. As a CDP, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of their kitchen, working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to deliver outstanding dishes that delight guests. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented culinary professional to showcase their creativity, hone their skills, and contribute to the success of this restaurant.
 
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards, with a focus on quality, presentation, and taste.
Assist in menu development and contribute innovative ideas for seasonal specials and promotions.
Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that all mise en place is prepared and organized efficiently.
Supervise and train junior members of the kitchen team, providing guidance and support as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations and best practices.
Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or line cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably within Mediterranean cuisine.
Strong culinary skills and a passion for food, with a keen eye for detail and presentation.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a busy kitchen.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate closely with colleagues.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Culinary qualifications or relevant training is a plus. Benefits:
