Senior Surveying Opportunity – Central Manchester - £85,000 + Package + Bonus – Leading Regional Contractor
Invision Recruitment is representing a top Construction company who are seeking to recruit to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor (Project Lead) on a student accommodation project in the centre of Manchester. My client is a large Construction company turning over in excess of £900 million, Optimizing to build quality over quantity. They also have a large presence throughout the Leeds and west Yorkshire.
The Position
You will be responsible to commercially lead this project from inception through to completion, responsible for cash management, by minimising cost and maximising value through proactive analysis and facilitation of works packages and the building process to maximise profitability for the business, reporting into a visiting Commercial Manager.
The Project
This new project consists of the demolition of an existing building cluster and the construction of a 37-storey mixed-use skyscraper consisting of 1086 student accommodation units. There will also be a second lower rise building of 13 storeys consisting of 36,000 sq.m of commercial office space along with public realm improvements.
